On Patrol
The Orange County Sheriff, as well as the South Florida Water Management District, frequently patrols the area from the air. I took this image at a shutter speed of 1/1000 second, almost freezing the rotary wings--which, at their tips, move faster than the speed of sound (their breaking of the sound barrier makes much of the whack-whack noise).
